Microprose has recently allowed the developer of B-17-II, the game's 'sequel', to release the original B-17 Flying Fortress games as freeware in a promotional attempt. See the links section for the address.

If you can find the original in its box, however, its very much worth it as the manual has the traditional Microprose quality, if not as thick as the older ones.
