The Good
If you like turnbased strategygames, you should give this one a try.
Instead of just giving you a huge amount of similar tanks, you command a small number of different units, which all have their special purpose. To win you have to know their abilities and use them well.
The missions are quite interesting and do not follow the 'conquer that city/smash all enemies'-pattern of other games of that genre. Changing weather, reinforcements and other unforeseeable events keep your attention till the last turn.
The difficulty is very well balanced. Although you have to take care of fuel, ammunition a.s.o. even beginners should have no problem finishing the first missions. After that the game starts to become challenging but the AI always plays fair.
The Bad
Cutscenes are quite boring (except the unit's descriptions).
The Bottom Line
Its the best part of the battle-isle saga and perhaps the best turnbased strategy-game ever.
