Trivia

Despite what Trixter says, all game elements were taken from the BattleTech board game (see T. Van's review for details). Though Van was the game's producer, he is slightly mistaken; Activision's MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries also details Inner Sphere history before and after the Clan invasion. Additional Trivia Note: along the way, we learn the noble but tragic fate of Gideon Braver Vandenburg, leader of the Blazing Aces mercenaries from MechWarrior 1: he died in his Phoenix Hawk, kicking Ghost Bear butt in a 5-on-1 fight.
