Wenn der Griff in die Spielkonzept-Mottenkiste gar so tief ausfällt, dann sollte man ein paar wirklich originelle Ideen hinzufügen und das Programm wenigstens handwerklich solide gestalten. Big Sea ist ein Beispiel, wie es nicht geschehen sollte: Eine mittelmäßige technische Umsetzung mit reizlosen Grafiken umrahmt ein sehr blasses und atmosphärisch schwaches Stück Software.
