Broad and deep business simulation, helped along by an excellent tutorial. Too complex for some gamers; too tedious for others. If you're the least bit interested in the subject, give this one a try.

Wenn Sie in Schule oder Studium über die an sich trockene Materie gestöhnt haben, können Sie hier ihr theoretisches Wissen spielerisch in die Tat umsetzen. Im Gegensatz zum bläßlichen A IV Network$ redet das Programm Klartext und läßt den Spieler nicht bei so irrelevanten Aspekten wie dem Grundkapital einer AG im Dunkeln. Kurzum: Capitalism ist eine fabelhafte Wirtschaftssimulation, die dieses Prädikat auch wirklich verdient.

Die richtig unterhaltsame Phase, die zwischen Einarbeitungszeit und Gewöhnungsmonotonie liegt, scheint ein wenig kurz ausgefallen zu sein. Wer's hingegen gerne zahlenlastig mag und sich an den intelligent gemixten Komponenten zum Thema "Produktakzeptanz" erfreut, bekommt viel zu tun. Zum erhofften "Wirtschafts-Sim-City" hat's nicht ganz gelangt.

"Buy low, sell high": it's not only a way of life in America, it describes a whole category of game known as the "economic sim". Pioneered by Railroad Tycoon and popularized by Impressions (Air Buck, Detroit, High Seas Trader), this game type appeals only to a certain type of person: one who prefers to conquer with bucks, not bullets. And the most elaborate and impressive example of this genre seen yet is Capitalism, created by Hong Kong native Trevor Chan. It is obsessively detailed, painfully complex, and very realistic. The goal of Capitalism is sweeping: turn your corporation into the most profitable one in the world.
