Cavewars puts you into a subterranean fantasy world of vicious combat and empire building. Each player starts with one city deep below the surface of a hostile planet.
Beginning with primitive weapons, a small knowledge of
magic and a diminishing supply of metal; you must explore, expand, mine metal and conquer to survive. Build better
weapons, learn to forge stronger metals, improve your
knowledge of magic and there will be no end to what you
can build, summon
or unleash upon
your enemies. Lag
behind in the race
for resources and
technology and you
will be crushed.
- A 3-dimensional
world -- 5 levels of
caverns and tunnels.
- Customize your
armies, select their
weapons, armor and
mounts. Build catapults, cannons --
even mobile artillery and
rocket launchers when your
technology allows it!
- Random map generator
allows you to build infinite
subterranean worlds!
- Play up to four other
computer or human players.
In a vast maze of
caverns, eight
species wage an
incredibly brutal war
for survival.
