Crime Wave

In conclusion: this game is nothing special. The campy theme is nice, as are Luke’s sunglasses but other then that it's a shoot-‘em-up with an above average amount of gore, decent graphics, crappy sound and absolutely no music. It can be fun to play for a while, and by all means do so, if you like this kind of game, but there's no reason to get all worked up for it.

Gut geklaut ist nicht gewonnen: Crime Wave hat sich spielerisch kräftig bei "Narc" bedient. Doch das Spektakel sorgt auf PC und Amiga nur für ausgedehntes Gähnen - wirr und unmotiviert trippeln häßlich digitalisierte Sprites auf das eigene zu, man ballert lustlos drauf, die Leichenteile fliegen, der Spieler ist vor Langeweile dem Weinkrampf nahe. Dadurch, daß man einen Spielstand speichern kann, hat man Crime Wave zu schnell durchgespielt. Auf dem PC spielt sich Crime Wave dank Festplatte noch am besten, auf dem Amiga sorgen zusätzlich Diskettenwechsel für Verdruß. Dumpf, dünn, doof.
