Dark Legions

Outstanding graphics, sound, design, and gameplay--with modem play to boot! Multicreature combat would have been a nice touch. A rare, winning combination of strategy and arcade combat. Expect folks to be talking about this one for a while.

Dark Legions ist quasi das bisher beste "Archon" denn nie zuvor war Strategie actionreicher - oder Action strategischer.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to mix table-top strategy with arcade combat scenes. It's sad that no sequel was ever made (no doubt due to the massive success of Command & Conquer and Warcraft) but at least we still have this little gem to play. Anyway, two thumbs up! Try it!

Il y avait les échecs, il faudra désormais compter avec Dark Legions. Une réalisation magnifique, un intérêt et une durée de vie énorme : l'un des meilleurs jeux de stratégie actuel.

Archon, eines der erfolgreichsten Computerspiele aller Zeiten, bekam vor einigen Monaten unter dem Zusatz Ultra einen äußerst fragwürdigen Nachfolger. Mit einigen Monaten Verspätung kommt jetzt ein Spiel auf den Markt, das schon eher das Format des Klassikers hat: Dark Legions!

Dark Legions ei ole shakkipeli eikä edes strategiapeli, vaan melko aivoton vastustajanmättämispeli kohtuullisen korealla grafiikalla. Kaiken kukkuraksi peli on melkoisen tylsä.

Wer sich für die exotische Mischung aus Fantasy-Strategie und herzhafter Action erwärmen kann, wird dennoch an Dark Legions seinen Spaß haben.
