Trivia

The 1.2 patch of this game provided support for 3dfx and Rendition Video cards. The game play was the same, but the blockiness was smoothed out. The result was a more realistic looking game environment.

Did you know that you can run Descent II in higher than 800x600? Just type in the command line, "descent2 -superhires" and access additional 1024x768 and 1280x1024 resolution modes from the options menu!
