Summary
Jim fun is wrong!!
The Good
I would like to take this time to say not to trust Jim Fun's review. He said that when you shoot the demon, a severed arm hits the screen covered in blood! All right, Jim Fun obviously didn't even PLAY the game and is just judging it on false info. Now, this game is fun ESPECIALLY on high difficulties. If you play the game on "I'm Too Young To Die" with god-mode on, that's why it's boring, you aren't really playing it as a game! Now, without cheats on a reasonable difficulty level (not too hard, not too easy) the game is really fun. Also, the graphics are good for it's time, even though the deaths get kind of repetitive looking and it consists of 3-D environments with 2-D enemies. The bosses WILL scare you when you see them for the first time, mainly because of their size. I never really liked the music, never hated it either, but the sound effects seem to get the job done. The sound consists of demon-like grunting, gunshots and explosives. Also sounds of pain and a nice squishy sound when someone explodes. Overall, I liked this game a lot.
The Bad
What didn't I like about this game? Well, some enemies are hard and REALLY make me angry (cacodemon, cyber-demon, spider-mind) and another thing about this game is the controversy over it. Some reviews on the Internet are inaccurate, like the reviewer didn't even play the game. Usually these reviews bash it for its violence, showing the obvious reason why they even wrote the review.
The Bottom Line
12 and up is a good age to play this game, because my friend Clarke started playing it at 12 and he's a good person, didn't shoot anyone. The game is violent but play it for yourself if you want to know how violent it really is. It is NOT capable of causing disasters. This game might offend you with some satanic imagery, violence and somewhat excessive use of the color orange.
