Summary

A disappointing sequel to Another World.

The Good

Another World was one of my favorite games ever, and I was very delighted to get its sequel, Flashback. Unfortunately, this completely average game failed to amaze me as much as its prequel. Admittedly, the graphics are quite smooth and flowing and the animations are as good as ever, but the game doesn't have nearly as much "HHHRGH!" factor as its prequel.

The Bad

Disappointing sound effects and music, lame story and average gameplay completely hinder what could and should have been a magnificent game. I don't know how or even want to explain this, but this game simply completely failed to amaze or captivate me, which is why I never played past the 30 minutes barrier.

The Bottom Line

A genuine disappointment, the game which should have brought Delphine down but was somehow extremely well received.
