Summary

Be a bikeless biker!

The Good

The biker theme is consistant and pretty cool. It's very different to say the least.

The Bad

It's hard to get the game to run under Windows98. I haven't bothered trying under WindowsXP. The hardest thing to get going is the sound, which is VERY important. The game is quite impossible to play in silence. Setting the sound becomes a trial and error thing. You'll have to try every availiable configuration, one of them will eventually work.

The Bottom Line

Throttle is a single player, first person, cartoon game, where you're a biker trying to get down the road. All this stuff keeps happening, which is the story line. You'll probably need a walkthrough to negotiate some of the puzzles, though. Not a shoot 'em up, but not a boring walk through the haunted house, either. A very cool game well worth your five bucks!
