Digam lá que é um título banal. Porém, assenta como uma luva esta imitação de Schumacher, nem melhor, nem pior, antes pelo contrário. Isto hoje são só lugares comuns. Mas o que tem der ser tem muita força. Fora que o jogo é fixe.

Als bekennender Fan von Road Rash sollten moderates Geisterfahren und etwas höfliches Gerempel genau mein Fall sein. Die Grafik ist akzeptabel, die Strecken abwechslungsreich. Irgendwie macht GT Racing 97 trotzdem nicht so viel Spaß wie es sollte.

GT Racing 97 hatte eigentlich einen guten Ansatzpunkt: Mit sündhaft teuren Sportwagen durch idyllische Landschaften zu brettern macht eigentlich immer wieder Spaß - der Erfolg von Need for Speed belegt das eindrucksvoll. Nur leider hat Ocean zu viele Detailfehler in puncto Streckendesign und Spielbarkeit, so daß GT Racing 97 nicht einmal Fans lange bei der Stange halten wird.
