The graphics and sound are good, especially for the time. The VGA graphics are colorful and do a pretty good job of setting the atmosphere as well as staying close to the scenes that can be seen in the movie. The sound effects are mostly Adlib beeps (this game was never made as a CD-ROM title), but the music is excellent. This is one of the best adventure games of all time, in my opinion superior to the next Indiana Jones adventure game, the City of Atlantis. If you like LucasArts adventures, you owe it to yourself to give this abandonware gem a try.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure is definitely worth the money and is heartily recommended. It is the best of the Lucasfilm adventure offerings and once again establishes the company as a high-quality publisher of superbly crafted games.

It's not as pretty or well-known as The Fate of Atlantis, but it is one of the few games where you can bamboozle the Führer into signing an unrestricted travel permit for you.

Indy is an excellent game which displays plenty of humour. Incidentally, the scene in the Zeppelin where Indy 'destroys' the radio was actually cut out of the film but kept in the game! How about that value for money?

TLJ.

Adventure Classic Gaming
In 1989, Lucasfilm releases Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the last movie in the Indiana Jones trilogy. A year later, Lucasfilm Games publishes its first game in the Indiana Jones series that is based on this movie. While the main storyline of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (also known as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure) remains faithful to the film, the game contains many scenes that have never appeared in the movie (and vice versa). The game also does not include any clip from the movie, albeit knowledge of the film can give clues to solving many of the puzzles in the game. True to the style of Indiana Jones, the game features plenty of action play, enough to satisfy any diehard fan of the series.

The difficulty will ensure that you won't breeze through the game on your first play through, and, as it's not particularly memorable, you probably won't play through it again. It's OK, but Lucas Arts was still quite a few years off reaching their peak. They were heading in the right direction, as the next game in its catalogue will show, but it's hard to stomach this game, considering what was still to come from the masters of the point 'n' click genre.

Based upon the most compelling story of the Indiana Jones movie trilogy, Last Crusade represents a key stage in the evolution of the graphic adventure. The game faithfully retells the story of Jones’s race against the forces of evil to recover the legendary Holy Grail, while fleshing out the original movie plot with arcade sequences, original dialogue and inventory-based challenges.
