Innocent Until Caught

As you can see from the screens the game supplies a very good in-game graphic, but a superbly rendered movie graphic! The game interface is also great. If you are familiar with any type of adventure game, you will be able to just jump straight into the action. And if you are not familiar with this genre, the game is an excellent introduction - combining a good written plot, lots of humour, interesting and funny dialoges, superb graphic, nice sound and a very practical scene map. The scene map show you an overview of the current screen with exit spots and so on. A great help for newbie players, but also for veterans. The game is not well known, but I hope that by putting it on this site it will get the praise it deserves. A strong game for everyone with no downsides.

Despite the 'attitude' and the 'seedy' locations I quite enjoyed teaming up with Jack again. This is a fun game that gives you plenty to do. Not all of the humour is juvenile and there are some genuinely funny moments. My favourite was a cut scene after Jack gets captured and is stretched out on a rack in a torture chamber. He is confessing to his crimes and his involvement in various plots when the torturer interrupts and tells Jack to have the decency to wait until the torture begins so as not to deprive him of job satisfaction. From any perspective Innocent Until Caught is a humorous graphic adventure game that doesn't take itself seriously, unlike some early reviewers. It's worth chasing up if you missed it.

Wer hat nur das Gerücht bei den Adventure-Herstellern verbreitet, daß lediglich abgekupferte Spielideen Bestand haben. Psygnosis, eigentlich für durchschnittliche Software bekannt, hat auch diesmal dieser Auszeichnung alle Ehre gemacht.

Men det spelar ingen roll - jag gillar det här spelet. Det har en ovanligt bra story, lysande cyberkänsla och massor av bra garv. Sedan får jag väl stå ut med att kontrollsystemet är både talanglöst och bökigt, animationerna småtaffliga, personporträtten fördomsfulla och musiken ganska enformig. "Innocent Until Caught" har ändå atmosfär så det räcker för att få åtminstone mig att kämpa vidare för att betala av stackars Jacks skuld.
