The original Cryo game scenario was written and created by Johan Robson, the author of the Atlantis series and MegaRace. Johan Robson, who often writes under the pseudonym of Arbeit von Spacekraft, is presently living in Paris. He has worked on a number of films such as Barbe Wire which had Pamela Anderson in the leading role.
KGB used the same adventure system that drove Dune, Cryo's previous and most famous game, but without the strategy elements.
Remade in 1994 as CONSPIRACY with the addition of video sequences starring Donald Sutherland as Rukovs dead father who helps explain the incoherent plot.
