Muy pocas veces se ha visto en nuestros monitores un personaje tan deliciosamente escrito y entrañable como Larry Laffer, y muy pocas veces toda la plantilla de Aventura y Cía hemos estado tan unánimemente de acuerdo en otorgar nuestra máxima puntuación a una aventura que creemos redonda, perfecta, sin ningún tipo de fisuras. “Leisure Suit Larry 6: Shape Up or Slip Out!” merecería ser estudiada, analizada y diseccionada con todas las de la ley más allá de este humilde análisis que os ofrecemos. Estamos, sin ningún tipo de duda ante la obra maestra de un genio, que rivaliza sólo con el corregidísimo y aumentadísimo “Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love For Sail!”. De paso recomendamos a aquellos que recientemente han sufrido en sus carnes el despreciable “Magna Cum Laude” que revisionen este clásico para notar la obvia diferencia entre un maestro que conoce todos los mecanismos del (más gamberro) humor y un escritorcillo con exceso de hormonas.

Leisure Suit Larry 6: Shape Up Or Slip Out! is everything a Larry game should be, and the best and most fully realized Larry game of its time. And because it introduces the comedic timing of professional voice actors, and trashes Passionate Patti and any previous continuity along with her, it's a great place for newcomers to the series to jump on. So grab that special someone in your life (provided he or she is not easily offended, and is equipped with proper protection) and enjoy the sex-fueled antics of another fine Al Lowe game.

Der Mythos im Polyesteranzug ist zurück. Die Fönfrisur ist zwar etwas ausgedünnt und der Bauch ein bißchen dicker, aber hormonell ist Larry Laffer so fit wie noch nie. Wie erwartet, dreht sich auch im fünften Teil alles um die Eroberung des schönen Geschlechts.

To me, the graphics in this game are very disappointing, as they are a step backward from LSL5. The cartoon graphics have been replaced by something in between that and realism. This fails completely, for me, and costs the game a rating point. Apart from this, the game is still good fun and keeps the Larry story going!

The multitalented jazz musician and game designer Al Lowe has provided us with outstanding adventures since Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, and the quality of the series has improved with each successive sequel. Since all the games in the Leisure Suit Larry series center heavily around adult humor, not all gamers have identified well with the series in the past.
