Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals

Much like a woman after a drunken night with Larry, Larry 3 seems to wake up to the homely visage of Larry 2, kick it out of bed, and take a long refreshing shower. Everything you enjoyed about the first two games is here with almost none of what you hated, plus several welcome surprises as well. Whether you are a longtime adventure fan or a newcomer to the genre, you will definitely get a kick out of this game.

The game introduces a completely new feature in the genre: the ability to switch between characters in mid-game! This enables you to get more of Larry's story, and at the same time it is incredibly well done - a BIG step in the right direction! Larry is slowly becoming a great game! There are a lot of useful things in the manual, cleverly disguised as ads and such, so you might want to look in there if you ever get stuck. As for the graphics, they are the best in the LSL series so far, as you would expect for the latest game. The music and sounds, however, are average. But the game is still fun for any fan of this genre.

They say that it’s hard to keep a good man down. And apparently it’s even harder to keep a perverted little man in a leisure suit down. The year is 1989, and Larry is back in business once again. And this time he’s not the only one looking for (and losing) love, joined in Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals by the passionate and lovelorn Patti. This is, quite frankly, one of my favorite Larry games, and probably the most underrated of the series. With LSL3, Sierra took the Larry series to a whole new level in raunchiness, length, and the untimely deaths that cause you to scream at your computer monitor, throw your mouse across the room and start the game over because you haven’t saved recently…ahem.

Nach einem langen, entbehrungsreichen Jahr folgt neuer Stoff für alle "Larry"-Süchtigen: Das neunseitige Disketten-Adventure "Leisure Suit Larry 3 - Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the pulsating Pectorals" ist da. Auch im dritten Teil geht's um das Thema, das immer wieder Mann und Frau in Atem hält... (nein, nicht das Tennis-Finale).

Fans of the series can thus look forward to a better sequel than this title.
