Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!

This game is an absolute must have if you enjoy adventuring and uproariously funny humor. No other game comes close. Larry desperately needs your help and you'll enjoy the cruise. Oh - oh, if you're a feminist - pass on this one.

Like the best Larry games of the past, Larry 7 drops the player into a big open environment that is explorable from the start. Larry has full run of the cruise ship where he meets and attempts to score with a frustrated clothing mogul, a scheming gold digger, a conservative librarian, a high stakes gambler, a well-read nudist, and a pair of busty country music singers. This time, there's more to do than just chase skirt. Larry also enters the Thygh's Man Trophy contest, a shipboard series of leisure games that offers a week with the sexy Captain Thygh as its prize. Figuring out how to win these games (and by win, I mean rig) adds just enough of a story to complement the sex, making this one of the most well-balanced Larry games.

"Love for Sail!" es una de las grandes joyas de Sierra de toda su historia. El juego tiene algunas cosas en contra, como la extraña lógica en varios puzzles o algún que otro gráfico no muy cuidado (aunque éstos son más bien pocos), además de que habrá algún puritano escandalizado por el alto contenido maduro del juego. Sin embargo, la gran, enorme, gigante cantidad de humor hace de "Larry 7" uno de los mejores juegos de la época y probablemente uno de los mejores en su propia saga. Un excelente juego para despedirnos de nuestro amigo cuarentón y aún más perdedor que nosotros. Los tiempos cambian, Larry, y la gente quiere más sexo y menos seso. Pero nosotros no nos olvidaremos de ti... ¡No! ¡NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Für erwachsene bzw heranwachsende Adventurespieler ist Leisure Suit Larry wohl die Referenz. Aber auch "normale" Zocker werden ihre Freude an dem vertrottelten Loser Larry haben. Ein Adventure bei dem es sogar Spaß macht es wieder und wieder durchzuspielen, man endeckt garantiert immer etwas neues. Außerdem hat man in diesem Spiel auch erstmals die Möglichkeit, sich selbst mit einzubauen (ja, wirklich); außerdem kann man nicht nur sehen und hören mit Larry - nein, auch noch riechen (ja, wirklich). Kurzum: ein sehr gelungenes Spiel, Al Lowe hat sich viel einfallen lassen!
