Ja, auf so ein Spiel hat man wieder einmal lange warten müssen. Nach dem immerhin schon einige Jährchen alten Midwinter kann es jetzt wieder ein Spiel dieser exzellenten Mischung aus Strategie und Rollenspiel schaffen, den Spieler für Tage an den Rechner zu fesseln. (-- Lars Geiger)

Ihanaa! Vihdoinkin Mike Singleton onnistui: hänen eeppinen roolistrategiapelinsä on niin hyvä, että pisteet loppuivat ja kiersivät ympäri. Äkkiä kauppaan, ennen kuin Lords of Midnight 3 myydään loppuun! Singletonin tuotoksista tämä on toiseksi huonoin, ykkössija kuuluu ehdottomasti Starlordille. Tosin Starlord oli jo niin huono, että siinä oli jotain huvittavaa. LOM3 on enää säälittävä tuotos omiin ympyröihinsä jämähtäneeltä pelintekijältä.
