As Quake add-ons go, Malice is one of the best I have ever played. There is a ton of innovation in it, it's all new, is a blast to play, has a storyline, works with my favorite game, Quake, and is around $20 retail. It features all-new graphics, monsters, cutscenes, weapons and unique items that will change the way people play multiplayer Quake. Malice does contain some adult language, so it is not recommended for young children. Overall, if you like Quake you'll love Malice.

PC Gameplay (Benelux)
Nu rest er me enkel nog te zeggen dat geen enkele Quake en/of Duke liefhebber de Malice add-on zou mogen missen. Strafe dus zo snel mogelijk naar de softwarewinkel.

The main problem with Malice is the overall level design. The eighteen levels are well-done on the whole, but often the solutions to getting through lie within a messy and often remarkably obscure assortment of switches and teleportation spots. However, if you want more Quake action, Malice is the perfect thing to keep you occupied. It's not Quake II, but it's a far better single-player game than the original Quake.
