Electric Games
If you're a NASCAR 2 fan, you'll love the added information that this pack includes, especially if you've grown bored with the tracks from the original game. This should be just the shot you need until NASCAR Racing 3 comes out... Bottom Line: A great extention to the king of NASCAR sims. Well worth the investment, especially for NASCAR junkies. The whole 1997 Grand National series experience comes alive with 10 new tracks, 30 new drivers, and two fantastic fantasy tracks.

Computer Gaming World (CGW)
What the expansion pack won't do is seat you in a distinctive Grand National Series car, a machine that in real life is less powerful and lighter than its NASCAR Cup counterpart. It also doesn't fix certain AI problems, most noticeable computer drivers who somehow still refuse to navigate around slowed or stopped cars, and it doesn't seem fully optimized for 3D, as it has somewhat slow frame rates. Nevertheless, the 12 new tracks (10 real tracks, 2 fantasy tracks) and new seasons breathe life into this aging game.
