Trivia

There are four secret warp levels in episode three of Paganitzu. Two of them are actually Chagunitzu levels copied over.

Keith Schuler implemented those as a sort of easter egg, but he never told the guys at Apogee about them until after the game had shipped. So they didn't make it onto the hint sheet that came with the game. Keith never wrote down how to access these secret warp levels, and now he doesn't remember how to reach them.

Keith Schuler didn't use a level editor for Chagunitzu and the first two episodes of Paganitzu. He just manually typed the data in for each level.

Keith didn't even think about making a level editor until he saw the editor that id Software used to make the Commander Keen games. Once he saw that, he created a simple editor and used that to create the third episode.

Paganitzu is actually a sequel to Chagunitzu, which is a sequel to Castle Zhagwhar.
