Trivia
'Popcorn' was included on the game disc of Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey as a hidden bonus.
'Popcorn' was also the title of the first and only game developed by developer 8th Wonder (setup by ex-Rare staff). The game was due to the released by SCEE, but was cancelled and never saw the light of day.

The game also includes a fully functional level editor/creator which makes the game infinitely playable.
The version of popcorn that I had include both French and English documentation, so figuring it out wasn't much of a problem. It also had a level editor and an utility to set the speed of the game. There were examples in the documentation for an AT.

Popcorn has some of the best graphics and design ever seen in a freeware game for its day; the graphics, in fact are better than the official Taito-released Arkanoid that came out a few years earlier.
