Description official description

This stand-alone sequel to Redneck Rampage finds Leonard and Bubba shooting their way back to Hickston after crash-landing the UFO at the end of the first game. Using the same engine and most of the same graphics as the original, RRRA adds vehicles, some new weapons (including a sling blade), new alien clones (a Dennis Hopper-ish biker and an evil cheerleader), and fourteen levels of ass-whuppin'.

Yeeehawwww... y'all will really enjoy this!!

The Good
Swamp boats!! :) Gotta love Swamp boats with mortar launchers on the front. The vehicals you can ride in this really add to the fun, the swamp boat is my favorite but there is also a motorcycle with a machinegun on the handlebars that really moves and can jump ramps! This is almost as good as the original game. The original game is the best for single player, but this comes close. This is probably the most enjoyable for multiplayer, drink some moonshine and then drive the swamp boat or motorcyle at warp speeds, heheheh... there are lots of new levels on this one with different types of areas than the original, like a race track which is alot of fun, a swamp and this version of the redneck engine adds in fog which really makes the swamp come alive. Disgraceland is hilarious (Redneck version of Elvis' house), again, lots of fun and even better music than the original, I especially like the CD song "Redneck Rampage", no midi's on this game folks, real CD music, and this version has some of the best songs yet. If you liked Redneck Rampage, you will love this.

The Bad
Not much, I liked just about everything about this game, like the original and Route '66, this is another hit. I honestly can't think of anything I don't like other than it would have been awesome to see this game with OpenGL. There could have been more newer enemies rather than a re-edited "old coot", that seemed a tad lazy... but that is a minor thing in my books.

The Bottom Line
Great sequel to Redneck Rampage, definately worth the money. This version has swamps, ridable vehicals, race tracks etc... and adds some new aspects to an already great game that makes it even more fun to play multiplayer, plus the wonderfully designed levels, great textures, music and sounds make this well worth buying.

Pack your speedloaders, and check your brain at the door...

The Good
This is a fun "beer and pretzels" shooter. It's cheap, and the dialogue is often hilarious.

The Bad
It's DOS, and getting it to cooperate with Windows can be tricky.

The Bottom Line
Bubba and Leonard return from Outer Space to a variety of locations including Graceland (probably the funniest level in the game). Basically sharing the same play dynamics as Duke Nukem 3D, except that instead of trying to find the Nukebutton to push, you must find Bubba and whack him upside the head with a crowbar to end a level. Lots of weapons, various sprite-based enemies, and funny voice acting.

Trivia

As with the first game, RRRA has an independent soundtrak with 5 banjo tunes, two songs from Mojo Nixon (Redneck Rampage and Cyvbersex) and a tune fron Tiny D and the Sofa Kings (Disgraceland).
