This game normally works fine under a Windows operated DOS shell, right until you reach the game's final boss. At that point the game WILL crash back to the desktop with an error message. If you want to fight the final boss and see the ending, you'll have to play the game under pure DOS.

The game's manual comes in the form of a "newspaper" with various humor articles parodying tabloid reporting and small town life in general.
I don't know much about guns, but I think I read somewhere that the .454 casull only has room for 5 rounds in the chamber since the bullets are so large. However in the game the casull shoots six shots before reloading just like your typical revolver pistol.
