Mutta onko peli kohun arvoinen? Graafisesti ja tunnelmaltaan RotR on huippua ja myös kontrollit ovat tunnokkaat sekä nopeat. Spritet liikehtivät kauniisti sekä liukkaasti ja peli on kauniisti esillepantu. PC:n omistajalle ei parempaa mätkintäpeliä markkinoilta löydy!

As the title indicates,"Rise of the Robots" brings us into an ultra-modern futuristic world where sophisticated technology has permitted man to create all sorts of robots to do the most difficult of tasks. Evidently these robots are, above all, submitted to man and must remain servants to society.

De mooiste graphics worden hier gecombineerd met een vechtstijl die overbekend is van alle andere beat 'em ups. Knokliefhebbers zullen daarom snel uitgekeken zijn op deze Robots. Bij Mirage weten ze hoe ze bloedmooie graphics kunnen maken. Nu moet iemand ze nog iets leren over gameplay.

Now the bad news. Despite all the points this games wins in the graphic department, this games comes along as a disappointment. It seemed the makers did not put as much effort in other areas as it did the in the graphics. After the "golly gee wow" factor of the graphics dissipates, the games loses that particular aspect that makes the player want to come back for more.

Um für frischen Wind im festgefahrenen Genre der Prügelspiele zu sorgen, ersetzte der englische Hersteller Mirage fernöstliche Kampfsportakrobaten durch scheppernde Blechkrieger.

De naturligt mänskliga rörelserna hos cyborgen är mycket bra och robotarnas rörelsemönster känns mekaniskt väldigt realistiskt, med lämpliga ackompanjerande plåtljud med mycket eko. Man tröttnar väldigt fort.

Ist Rise of the Robots wirklich das schlechteste Spiel aller Zeiten? Das ist in der Tat schwer zu beantworten, wenn man Konkurrenten wie Legend of Success Joe, The Incredible Crash Dummies oder Dark Castle kennt. Ihnen voraus hat RotR die hübsche Grafik, aber trotzdem zählt es wohl locker zu den 10 miesesten Spielen aller Zeiten.
