Before speaking to the big holographic image, you have to deal with the drops of acid falling from the ceiling (in the underground cave on Kerona). The puzzle was very easy in the original game, but here (probably because of speed problems) it's very difficult to solve. Approach the drops as near as you can, adjust the game speed as high as possible and click on the floor just to the RIGHT of the drops (the opposite side). The important thing is clicking very LOW! This solved the problem for me.
