Spellcasting 101: Sorcerers get all the Girls

The atmosphere in the game is fantastic. That’s because an incredible effort was made in making the puzzles. The game has 8 chapters. I could say that the puzzles aren’t for newbies, but there are some, and some puzzles are for more experienced adventurers. The most difficult chapters are 3, 4 and 8. I found the third chapter not only difficult but it broke my nerves too. This is one of the most complete adventures from all points of view. If you are an old school adventurer, good at puzzles, lover of smart scenarios, or you believe that laughing makes you live longer, then this game is for you. Enjoy it.

Spellcasting might not appeal to fans of a more modern breed of story-driven Adventures. It has great humor galore, but actual storytelling is only a secondary aspect. Those who prefer old-school style of puzzle-driven games will on the other hand fall in love with it immediately.

Das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Als eingefleischter Meretzky-Fan (sein "Stationfall" war das Adventure, was mich am stärksten beeindruckt hat) bin ich froh, daß er der Spieleszene erhalten geblieben ist. Technisch ist Spellcasting 101 auf dem neuesten Stand, ohne sich im Schnickschnack zu verlieren. Noch besser ist meiner Meinung nach die Geschichte. Spätestens nach dem ersten Kontakt mit Gretchen Snowbunny liegt auch der hartnäckigste Miesepeter vor Lachem unterm Tisch - Meretzkys Humor ist einfach umwerfend.
