Summary

The space-sim that spawned an entire legacy of games!

The Good

Everything. The story, graphics, engine, easy-to-learn controls (which haven't changed in any LucasArts X-Wing/Tie Fighter game since) and great sounds and music all immerse you totally in the Star Wars universe.

Totally Games lives up to their name! :)

The Bad

No multiplayer. But of course this was addressed later on down the line with X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance.

Lack of a supported mission editor (there were plenty of good hacked ones) was also an oversight.

The Bottom Line

A must-play. A veritable classic!
