Steg the Slug

So what makes this game so special? The nice graphic is a definate plus, but the real boost lies in the thinking involved in solving every level. You will notice that Steg can crawl on every flat surface (including the roof), but you may also find neat little gadgets around each level, like mechanical legs or a jetpack. But even with these, the game is hard. The first couple of levels are easy, but this is only to teach you the basics. If you like a Platform game that will require thinking, and still is good fun, then this is the game for you!

Noch nie war ein Codemasters-Programm so frei jeglicher spielerischer Einfälle. Die Extras ändern kaum etwas am Spielfluß, die Levels sind so simpel aufgebaut, daß man keine Gehirnzelle aufwärmen muß, um den Aufbau zu enträtseln, und die Grafik ist kein müdes Grinsen wert. Dafür kommt kräftig Ärger auf, wenn das Killerextra unvermutet zuschlägt (was für eine dämliche Idee) oder ein energiesaugendes Würmchen genau an dem Platz auftaucht, wo man gerade nichts Böses ahnend steht. Auch wenn das Programm nicht viel kostet, wird man mit einem durchschnittlichen Shareware-Spiel deutlich besser bedient. Finger weg von dieser lahmen Schnecke.
