Summary

Too bad this game came out so late.

The Good

I don't know a great deal about this game. Unfortunately, it has a raycasting engine and came out so late I could barely stand the thought of playing it for too long.

But Strife does have one important advantage, which most games of the genre do not have: plot. Strife has a great, well-developed plot and I find it unfortunate that it came out so late. A shame.

The Bad

Horrible raycasting engine, disgusting graphics and sub-par controls render what would potentially be the ancestor of Half Life (plot-wise) a completely unpleasurable experience.

The Bottom Line

A game I wouldn't play for the life of me. A shame, since it has such a good story.
