Es ist vollbracht: Vor fast drei Jahren zeigte Chris "Wing Commander" Roberts zum erstenmal dem staunenden Publikum eine frühe Demo seines Projektes Strike Commander. Voller Zuversicht verkündete Origin den offiziellen Erscheinungstermin für Strike Commander. Schon Weihnachten 1991 sollten sich begeisterte Spieler mit dem Programm vergnügen können. Jedoch hatten die texanischen Programmiergurus eine goldene Weisheit des Softwaregeschäftes mißachtet, die da lautet: "Nenne nie einen Veröffentlichungstermin - er wird sowieso nicht eingehalten". So kam das Christfest '91 und ging auch wieder... von Strike Commander keine Spur. Jetzt hat das Warten der Robertschen Fans ein Ende: Strike Commander ist gelandet.
