Happy Computer
Nach dem Erfolg von Silent Service (das im Gegensatz zum Sub Battle Simulator mittlerweise indiziert ist) mußten ja ein paar Nachzieher kommen. Und während das ebenfalls in diesem Sonderheft getestete "Up Periscope" in recht trüben Gewässern vor sich hin blubbert, hat Sub Battle Simulator mehr Klasse. Die Programmieer haben wirklich an x Funktionen gedacht. Am schönsten finde ich den "Drauf-schau-Modus", in dem man sein eigenes U-Boot von der Seite beobachten kann.

the Atlantic or Pacific theater. Time has made
this effort obsolescent, but it did have some interesting
features (and some not so interesting,
e.g. one's submarine could claw its way
across the coast of Spain rather than transiting
through the Straits of Gibraltar).
