SUPERHERO LEAGUE OF HOBOKEN WALKTHROUGH - Part 5
MISSION SET 6
Wait once for the dramatic entrance of the Mighty Magnitude. Enter the
lunchroom and sign him up right away, because there a many uses for his
superpower. Leave the SLH.
STATEN ISLAND HOSTELERY REPORTS MAP STORAGE PROBLEM
Go to 2B. Go to 8,10 and enter the Staten Island marketplace. Go to the
hostel (NW). USE Princess Glovebox's superpower "Refold Road Maps" to clean
up the mess. When the road maps are put away, TAKE the can of Bud which is
on the registration desk. Leave the hostel but not the village.
RELIGIOUS CULT IN HARRISBURG AREA HAS LAUNCHED A DOOMSDAY PLOT
Go to the Staten Island pawnbroker (SE). BUY the silver tubecar access pass
from him. Leave the pawnbroker and the village. Return to sector 2C and go
to 6,8. Enter the Newark sector. Go to 9,10 and enter the tubestation. Go
downstairs and take the red tubecar to Philadelphia. Go upstairs twice to
leave the tube station. Go to 7,1 and enter the Philadelphia sewers. Go to
7,7 and enter the 8th & Market Tubestation. TAKE the wad of chewing gum off
the ground. Go downstairs and take the silver tubecar. Go upstairs to exit
to the Middleton-Harrisburg sector. The moment you take a step in any
direction, you will come upon an encampment of 20 enemies: 5 McMutants,
5 Espevangelists, 4 Mickey Monsters, 3 Cruise Mistletoes, 2 Armageddon
Armadillos and 1 Unrepeatable Bug. This is a tough fight, but you must beat
it because after the fight you will get a paper clip which you need later.
Go to 15,2 and enter Three Mile Island complex. Once inside, OPEN the
deactivation unit which is in the foreground (the console which doesn't have
dumb-looking cultists around it). PUT the paper clip on the electrodes on the
console. PULL the orange lever. A section of hydraulic tubing will blow out
so nothing will happen. PUT the chewing gum in the hole. PULL the orange
lever again. The reactor will be shut down and the disappointed cultists will
leave. TAKE the uranium pellet which is in the middle of the wreck of the
other console. Leave (SE).
PREPARATION (MASTER TUBECAR ACCESS PASS)
While in Middleton-Harrisburg, go to 9,4 and enter Middleton village. Go to
the hostel (W) and TAKE the master tubecar access pass from the lost and found
box on the registration desk. Leave the hostel and the village. Go to 14,9
and enter the tubestation. Take the silver tubecar. Go up twice. Go to 7,1
and exit the Philadelphia sewer.
ELVIS STAIN SIGHTING IN SCRANTON CHURCH GETTING OUT OF HAND
While in Philadelphia, go to 5,8 and enter the tubestation. Take the orange
tubecar and go up. Go to 15,9 and investigate the excavation. Geraldo will
find a candy dispenser and a stack of National Enquierers which you will take.
Go to 11,7 and enter the tubestation. Take the orange tubecar. Go down and
take the red tubecar. Go upstairs once and take the gray tubecar. Go up to
exit to the Scranton sector. Go to 4,11 and enter the village of Scranton.
PUT your stack of National Enquierers into the basket in the back of the
newspaper box. The Elvis watchers will read the Enquirer and go after another
sighting somewhere else (you might have to WAIT until the paper boy puts the
Enquirers into the newspaper box for this to happen). One of the watchers
will drop some mushroom soup which you will automatically take. Leave the
village and go to 11,8. Enter the tubestation and take the gray tubecar. Go
upstairs and leave the Newark sector.
ALLIGATORS ARE REPORTED IN THE NEW YORK SEWERS
Go to sector 3C. Go to 1,11 and enter the New York Uptown sector. Go to 12,7
and enter the sewers. Go to 14,10 and you will come to an encampment of 1
alligator from Hell. After you beat him, go to 5,10 and there will be two
alligators. Beat them, go to 9,5 and there will be 3 alligators. Beat them,
go to 13,3 and there will be 4 alligators. Beat them, go to 8,3 and there
will be five alligators. (*NOTE: This can be done in any order, since the
first location you visit will have 1 alligator, the second 2, etc. I just
tried to pick the quickest way to get to all of them). After you beat the
tough five alligators, you will get some alligator shit. Go to 12,12 and exit
the sewers. Leave the New York Uptown sector.
DR. ENTROPY HAS DEVELOPED A MACHINE WHICH WILL RELEASE A DEVASTATING GAS
Go to sector 2C. Go to 13,6 and enter the Statue of Liberty. Try going
upstairs and you will be stopped by Andy Android. OPEN your can of Bud.
PUT the uranium pellet into the can of Bud. PUT the alligator shit into the
can of Bud. PUT the cone from the phonograph in mission set 1 into the
can of Bud and now put the mushroom soup into the can of Bud (to funnel it).
GIVE the can of Bud to Andy Android. He will go into a mating frenzy and leave
the stairs. Go upstairs. Dr. Entropy will apologize for not having a puzzle
and he will jump off the statue (he will survive, of course). Go downstairs,
leave the statue and go to the SLH. You will get a congratulations screen
and 2 new superheros will arrive.
MISSION SET 7 - THE FINAL MISSION
Don't bother with the two new superheros unless you are having major problems
with combat, because their powers are combat only. If you need them, you can
replace Princess Glovebox, King Midas and or Oxide Man because you will not
need them anymore. Leave the SLH.
Go to 6,8 and enter the Newark sector. Go to 9,10 and enter the tubestation.
Take the gray tubecar to the Scranton Tube station. Go downstairs and take
the gold tubecar. Go upstairs. You will now be in the Buffalo-Niagara sector.
Your dangerometer will explode (a good sign that the fights in this sector are
the toughest anywhere). Go to 4,9 and enter the Chippawa market. Go to the
pawnbroker (NE) and buy the white isotope (l'isotope blanc). DRINK it with
any superhero to get the Beaver Jaw superpower. Leave the village. Go to
12,1 and enter the rest station. USE the Beaver Jaw superpower to cut down the
tree. USE the Might Magnitude's superpower "Superpower of Ten" to enlarge the
tree by a factor of 10. The Niagara river will now start to get dry because
of the blockage. Leave the rest station (E). Go to 3,11 and approach the
Niagara Falls. You will get a barrel which you will need later. Now go to
the island in the middle of the sector (the one surrounded by the river),
6,8 for example. The minute you step anywhere on that island, the tree will
be swept away and the river will fill up again. Now move onto any highway
square (7,8) and the soldiers from both sides will inform you that they are
now stuck on this island and need your help to get off. You will automatically
get them off using the inflatable dinghy. After you get them across, you will
get a plowshare and a pruning hook for your troubles. Go to 7,6 and enter
Ben's Farm. GIVE the plowshare, pruning hook and barrel to Ben in exchange for
his elevator key. Leave the farm (W,E or SE). Go to 15,1 and enter the tube
station. Take the gold tubecar and go upstairs twice. You will now be in
the Scranton sector. Go to 15,9 and investigate the truck accident site which
is now there. USE the "Superpower of Ten" three times to shrink the banana
pile to a manageable size. TAKE the bananas. Leave, go to 11,8 and enter
the tubestation. Take the gray tubecar. Go upstairs and leave the Newark
sector. Go to 3C and go to 1,10. Enter the New York Downtown sector. Head
for the Empire State Building (7,3). The minute you get within one square of
the Empire State Building, you will come to an encampment of 14 enemies. This
is an extremely tough fight because there are also three waves to it. In
the first wave, there are: Terrible Two, Supermom, Chicken from Hell, McMutant,
Junk Bond Amoeba, Espevangelist, Linebacker, Bag Lady, Lab Rat from Hell,
Aerobot, Cruise Mistletoe, Armageddon Armadillo, Samurai Welder and
Unrepeatable Bug. After they are defeated, a second wave will appear (and they
will always get the surprise). The second wave is comprised of: Alligator
from Hell, Monster Tree, Lava Lamprey, All-Mine Mine, King Kong Salmon, Mickey
Monster, Mega Processor, One-Arm Bandit, Ant from Hell, Albino Wino, Glowing
Beaneater, Tupper, Transistor Jowl. The third and final wave will then move
in (and get the surprise as well). It is comprised of: Screaming Meemie,
Lawyer, Bureau-Crat, Marketoon, Suggester, Cy Young Cyborg, Dandelion from
Hell, Thrasher Thresher, Albino Rhino, Cy Young Cyclops, Steroid Man, Cy
Yound Cyclotron, Albino Dino, and Ragweed. After you defeat them, you are free
to enter the Empire State Building. PUSH the elevator call button beside the
elevator on the right. Go east. You will go all the way up to the observation
deck. There, Entropy will unveil his newest invention, the projector which
makes whatever it projects into reality. He will put on a King Kong movie.
King Kong will grab him and you will be released. Once you are free, USE the
"Superpower of Ten" three times again to enlarge the pile of bananas to King
Kong size. When the banana pile if back to its original size, King Kong will
be totally distracted by them (he can't eat and think at the same time, you
know). Now, just TURN OFF the giant projector and King Kong will disappear,
dropping Entropy who will be vaporized by the long fall and the additional
problem of the 30,000 pounds of bananas dropping on him.
