Trivia
The original Tetris was developed in Moscow in 1985 and soon was ported to the IBM PC. First spreading in Moscow, then reaching Hungary where Apple II and Commodore 64 versions were made.
Supposedly the genius who created Tetris, Alexey Pajitnov, made almost no money from his invention, as the rights to it were illegally sold.
[approver note: while Pajitnov did not receive royalties from many of the early versions of the game, he eventually got the rights back and currently has control over his creation]
