Torin's Passage

Mijn eindconclusie zal je waarschijnlijk al wel kunnen voorspellen. Dit is een prachtig spel! Iedere serieuze adventurespeler zou deze cd-rom in huis moeten halen. Voor de prijs hoef je het in ieder geval niet te laten.

C'est beau, drôle et intéressant. C'est un jeu tout à fait recommandable, puisqu'il faut tout vous dire.

Torin's Passage is the latest offering from Al Lowe, of Leisure Suit Larry fame. Tired of making games of our favorite loser Larry, Lowe had moved away from his "adult" type humor and tried to show the gaming world that he had a full sense of humor, not just one that involved sexual innuendo. His last game prior to Torin's Passage was called Freddy Pharkas, Frontier Pharmacist. His effort was pretty good, and Freddy was quite funny.

Tyvärr är Torin's Passage - liksom de flesta av Sierras spel, extremt buggigt. Det är känslosamt och på gränsen till sockersött på sina ställen, men lika ofta är det hysteriskt roligt.

Though this game is aimed at a younger audience, it may be too difficult for all but gifted children. Even so, the storyline and characters should keep the young ones enthralled while older siblings or parents wrestle with the puzzles. A fine family play.

Hærdede adventurespillere vil nok savne Larry-spillenes seksuelle under-, mellem- og overtoner og gennemføre spillet i løbet af 'no time' uden de store latterbrøl. Selv hvis man betragter det som et familiespil, virker det dog stadig for 'umorsomt', og stadigvæk for let.
