LBA2 expands upon the sense of adventure displayed in LBA1. While the game is at times lacking in puzzles, or scenarios requiring you to think your way out, it is an improvement over its predecessor in terms of gameplay. Its strongest point is its ability to fully immerse the player in a world that is unique and funny.

Bottom Line: Fantastic, engaging story, lots of fun. Graphics are excellent but there is too much clipping. Action scenes are a mix, some add to the story, some are just annoying. Adventure fans will really love the storyline and puzzles. Gamepad support and combat difficulty levels would have been appreciated.

Despite the minor flaws, the game world in Twinsen’s Odyssey is huge and filled with plenty of locations and puzzles for the player to explore and solve. Some of the puzzles in this game are pretty tough. Characters interactions are humorous with some delightful dialogues. The game offers more than 40 hours of solid gameplay. Overall, Twinsen’s Odyssey is a beautifully designed sequel that is visually stunning and full of humor, capable of seducing both arcade and adventure game players with its incredible playability.

Entertainment Weekly
Twinsen's Odyssey is a whimsical adventure teeming with many splendors — all you need is free time. Wield the powers of Twinsen, a radically coiffed alien with a tan, and try to save his planet's kidnapped children through puzzles and interactions with the Alice in Wonderland-like supporting cast. Navigating Odyssey's sprawling landscapes is a trip, but like many adventure games it's overly long, with far too many diversions to hold your interest.
