How to make it work on a fast machineContributed by Kalirion (395) on Aug 17, 2000.

If you have a Pentium II or higher, Tyrian will refuse to run on your machine giving a "runtime error." If you slow down your computer enough to be able to run it, the game might be very slow/jerky. However you can slow down your computer with a program like CPUKiller, which can be found on the ZDNet site, multitask out and disable the slow down, and multitask back into the game, everything will work fine. On my 466 Celeron running Windows 98, a speed decrease of 6% is enough to start the game.
