Summary

Warcraft II can hide when it comes to it's prequel!

The Good

I had a small group of men, twelve the top, but they were ruthless and not so easy to frighten. After many days of walking, we ran to some wrecked village engulfed in large vast of flames. No soul alive to await us in that deep dark territory. Suddenly, a sky show some light trails as unknown flaming arrows made the fire circle around us. Groaning horde of orcs then came from the nearly forrest and strike us hard. When we though we escaped, there were only four of us left. But rather multitude of spiders created by an orcish mage attacked us to death. Last thing I saw was a sharp blade from an orc rider before I felt down. Unconsciousness saved my life, but not for long. As I was imprisoned in their camp, I found out what's the main meal - me! Yiikes! No hope has left for us humans, but to stand fast, and defeat those beasts before they engulf the whole continent. If someone find this letter let him be sure that death is near, nearer than this letter to the following reader, may your sword be the first thing to wake up with, and may your eyes never asleep.

After Dune II striked us with a totally new genre, not so long after, we got another strike from Blizzard territory - "Warcraft"! Two sides available for us to choose, the migthy tribes of orcs and other beasts better knoen from "The Lord of the Rings", and humans. Knights grabbing their swords, horsemen hunting their prey, archers keeping the distance of a nearest threat, while catapults giving the final touch of silence.

Graphic won't dissapoint you in either way, as well as sounds and music that keeps you fasted to your chairs until the very end of this nighty realm. You'll command fighters, archers, pikemen, riders, catapults, mages with many types of magic including creating vast armies of crawling creatures, as well as demons or water-creatures that can not be harmed quite easily. You'll need to do the mining and chopping trees along the way in order to build better weapons, better defences and more buildings to survive.

Warcraft is without a doubt one of the best RTS game, and no matter how much you thought of it's sequel, this one is better, harder and the source of every other Blizzard's creation connected to orcs, role-playing games, real-time strategies and other fantasy and mistical game stories alike. Don't you dare to say no to this game, or you will never learn the real meaning of battle, and how it all started.

The Bad

Hmm, lemme think. Music... excellent, graphic... also great, weapon arsenal... good as well, sounds... intimidating real, oops, I guess I missed the section, this is all like a big plus for a game, no 'against' found, sorry... :)

The Bottom Line

"Warcraft: Orcs & Humans" is probably one of the oldest and most addictive RTS games ever, as well as "Dune II", it's a classic dude, if you haven't tried it already, I don't know what you're waiting for. Once you meet how sweet orcs can be, you won't leave its realm until you meet them all, no matter the cost.
