You can transfer (import) previously made characters from Bard's Tale I: Tales from the Unknown and Bard's Tale II: The Destiny Knight into Dragon Wars.

Transferring characters will of course delete your previous saved game. Click on file: dwtran.com to transfer characters.

Purtagory, the starting city of Dragon Wars comes from a legend or a mythology referring to a place between earth and hell. Explains a lot...as far as Namtar is concerned.

Well, the bad guy's name read backwards is "Ratman". That alone isn't amusing, but the fact that it took me five years to figure that out is. Or not.

Dragon Wars actually is kind of a follow-up for Bard's Tale III. At least it had been called Bard´s Tale IV in many previews before it was published.
