Note, though, that while the fantasy characters and storybook settings may seem geared for young children, the game's difficulty makes it an experience better suited for slightly older kids and grownups. They may not always be easy, but solving these puzzles can make for a highly satisfying gaming experience. This is a perfect game for a parent and child to explore together.
While the artistic elements in Drawn: Trail of Shadows may now seem commonplace to previous fans of the series, and the overall game lasts around 3 hours, the entire overall package here – graphics, soundtrack (complete with voice acting), varied settings, interesting puzzles, engaging storyline - is still one that is so polished and so downright fun to play that you’d only be doing yourself a disservice by not jumping right in.
Still relentlessly beautiful, Drawn: Trail of Shadows is nevertheless a shorter, less interesting and less complex game than its excellent predecessor. It knows how to bridge the gap between audiences, though.
