Trivia

Availability

Coming out just a few months before The King of Fighters: Evolution, this game was made in very limited numbers so it is a very hard find and sort of a collector's item.

Version differences

The game sports a animé opening sequence which introduces every character in standard videoclip fashion. Now, in the original Japanese version, King (the female blonde from AOF) is seen drinking a glass of wine and smirking. On the US version this was replaced with a still frame of her simply holding the glass.
