Summary

colourful stat building arcade rpg.

The Good

colourful graphics depict a vast array of pick ups and creatures. atmospheric scene setting movies. good voice acting, incredibly for a release this small, and a sense of humour. strategic element to the arcade style battles.

The Bad

repetative 'hack and slash' action does become numbing. it takes too long for your movement to get speedy. saving takes too long. the blacksmith saying the same old nonsense to you every time you see him, which is pretty often.

The Bottom Line

ok if you're looking for something to zone out with. nice to look at, fairly but not completely linear, very D&D in it's stat tweaking and item hording. although you have an isometric viewpoint this is a true 3-D game.
