Power Unlimited
De beste snowboardgame voor de console van dit moment: zeer mooi, super wacky en heel veel gameplay. UEP Systems heeft het weer geflikt!

Great graphics, average gameplay, tough tricks. There you have it. That pretty much sums up this game. It is fun if you are hanging out with your buddies trying to pull off a better move than the guy next to you, but after that part is over and you wake up next to the game, you really don't have much to say to it. It was fun while it lasted but now it is morning. This is not a bad game but in the end, it will leave you wanting something more.

Super Play

The immense tracks, two player mode, and wide variety of characters and boards should manage to make you overlook the flaws involving the awkward trick controls. I'd personally have liked a few more tracks in there, and maybe a larger default set of courses to begin with, as well as a means of playing the two player mode against the CPU. Regardless of these problems, Rippin' Riders is a good time on your Dreamcast, even if you plan to stay as far away as humanly possible from the real thing.

The Video Game Critic
Guiding your boarder is pretty easy, but performing tricks takes a lot of practice. There's an innovative two-player split-screen mode where one player's half of the screen begins to shrink as the other pulls off stunts. Rippin' Riders isn't a great game, but if you're looking for a snowboarding title, you could do worse.

Game Revolution
When all is said and done, Rippin' Riders just doesn't quite make the cut. While offering several cool features, its rigid controls and terrible sound undermine those few bright spots and result in a merely average game. I'd love to give the announcer a kick in the ass, if I could only move my legs...
