Get Bass illustrates why Sega is the best software developer. Leave it to Sega to create the first fishing game that I can't put down. It's the Model 3 arcade wonder plus more modes and locales. Simple, yet addictive gameplay matched with excellent graphics and sound effects produce another Dreamcast winner!

Bass Fishing puts arcade action back into the sport (like it was ever there to begin with, right?) There's no complicated setup here; just pick your bait, cast, and hook some fish! This is my kind of fishing game! You'll have to pay extra for the Sega fishing controller, but it's well worth it.

There is much fun one can have playing several rounds of Sega Bass Fishing. This is arcade fun the way it was designed to be. Most certainly it is a game that many a "new" gamer could cut their teeth on,. Moreover, it is one that can appeal to almost anyone. Besides where else can you catch huge Bass like these without awaking at 2:00AM and having to eat cold wet sandwiches for lunch?

Had it not been for the quick port from arcades this game would have been one of my all-time favorites. As it is, it is extremely playable and very fun. I'm hoping that with the release of the reel controller (it seems to be doing well) other companies will try to capitalize on the peripheral. Perhaps by next year this time we will be treated to a Bass Fishing 2, or a third party's attempt at the fishing genre. After all, this genre has existed in console gaming since Activision's attempt for the Atari 2600. It has come a long way since then and shows no signs of slowing down. Let's pray now that we have the reel that a true fishing sim comes our way soon. If so I'll surely be the first one to reel it in.

Sega Bass Fishing is a title which is a great arcade conversion with some nice additions for the home. It's games like this that make the Dreamcast such a unique and fun system to own.

Surprisingly enough, Sega Bass Fishing is a fun game and worth a look to all but the most extreme fishing hater. The only question is whether to spring for the fishing controller. Hmmm…

Sega Bass Fishing brings fishing to a whole new audience and you don't even have to enjoy the real thing to enjoy the pleasures of this fantastic simulation.

If you're looking for a good fishing game then look no further than Sega Bass Fishing it does just about everything you could want from the genre. Gamers expecting more might be a little disappointed, but if you're the type of person that wishes he could fish 24 hours a day this game was made for you.

If you are looking for a fun party type game, I suggest picking up a fishing controller along with this game. You will have some good, quick fun. If you are looking for a deep, long lasting fishing experience, you will be disappointed. I do suggest at least a rental just to see the cool graphics and the fish alone are worth the five dollar rental fee. Just don't expect any long fights, that is for sure.

As an all-around title for the everyman who might own a Dreamcast, Sega Bass Fishing is a non-threatening, lightly challenging little game that should keep fishing fans more than happy with its placid, lakeside offerings. For the hard-core gamer this is nothing more than a rental, but if you jones for the great outdoors on a more than regular basis, this may be the gumdrop for your sweet tooth.

Man vill helt enkelt ha mer innehåll. Mycket mer.
