Sonic the Hedgehog (found on the Smash Pack compilation) was voted #24 in the Top 100 Games of All Time poll published by Game Informer Magazine (Issue 100, August 2001).

The Smash Pack runs Sega Genesis games on a Genesis emulator for the Dreamcast. (A testament of how powerful the Dreamcast is.) While most of the emulation works well, the sound emulation is a mixed bag: FM music sounds different and not quite the same, while the digital sound emulation actually sounds better than on a Genesis.
