Summary
Surprisingly.. excellent
The Good
First off this game has excellent voice work, courtesy of the official Looney Tunes voice cast. Second the graphics look amazing. The cel shading actually make this Dreamcast game look on par with a lot of Gamecube and Xbox games. The racing engine and controls are near perfect making Space Race a great pick up and play game that casual and core gamers can both enjoy. The Multiplayer especially is very fun. The unlockables also make for good replay value.
The Bad
Too few powerups can make races annoying as the cpu get the more powerful ones too often.
Long load times are also extremely annoying, I'm not sure if this is corrected on the ps2 version.
More characters from the Looney Tunes library would have been nice.

The Bottom Line
Total buried treasure. If you've got a Dreamcast of PS2 I'd highly recommend checking this out. Space Race is completely on par with the likes of Mario Kart and CTR.
