Minor gripes aside, I can find no way to discourage getting this. Filled with the best visuals, gameplay, and music to be seen in a 3D platformer, Super Magnetic Neo is a must have. New platforming fans may just want a rental, but veterans will proud to have this in their collection. The little guy may not be the next Sonic or Mario, but Neo is definitely worth your attention.

Un bon jeu de plates-formes qui apporte son lot d’originalité et qui amusera les plus jeunes avec sont univers cartoon décalé très réussi. Les problèmes de maniabilité l’empêchent cependant de se hisser au rang des meilleurs du genre.

Super Magnetic Neo is not a kids game in any sense though, as the youngins, in addition to having the usual difficulty with the perspective, will find it tough getting through even the first level. Casual gamers and the easily frustrated will also want to shy away from it. But if you think you can put up with the frustration, and don't mind a game that beats you into memorizing the layout of a level in order for you to pass it, then Neo may be worth a pick up - just tie your controller down ahead of time.

Overall, if you manage to find this "attractive" (yeah, I suck) game on eBay or buried under 400 copies of NBA2K at the local game store, give it a go. If you are a hardcore platforming nut you'll enjoy yourself, but if you love games that really make no sense and kind of make you wonder what the hell the person was on when they scripted it... you might enjoy this one a little more. Hell, this may be your favorite game of all time next to Katamari Damacy or Space Channel 5.

Despite its few frustrating control issues, Neo is a surprisingly polished product. It's not going to win awards, but it's a solid and unique enough game to warrant a look.

Super Magnetic Neo est un jeu clairement inspiré du principe de Crash Bandicoot 3 : Warped. Sans jamais égaler l'ambiance irrésistible du comique coyote, le petit robot magnétique s'adresse plutôt à un public enfantin. Des graphismes très colorés et une ambiance naïve permettent cependant à ce titre de faire une prestation convenable dans l'univers des jeux de plates-formes 3D. Un titre qui ne restera pas dans les annales, mais qui divertira probablement un public restreint de jeunes virtuoses de la manette.
