There are few things as relaxing as feeding ducks as they swim—but what about when you can't get away to a real pond? With this duck pond simulator, there's no need to head outside again!
In the "Tandy 400" version of the game, two virtual ducks colored in alternating shades of green swim around on the black screen. The player hits "F" to throw bread at the ducks. Holding down the button sends out (up to) three pieces of bread. The game ends once one of the ducks has been fed ten times.
In the "Atari 2600" version of the game, two ducks swim around a pond; one duck is brown and the other is white. This version has more controls than the Tandy 400 version; in addition to throwing bread the player can also throw anvils, drain the pond, and change the size of the brown duck.
The game appears at the end of the Strong Bad e-mail duck pond
, where Strong Bad is asked if he ever fed ducks; he responds by saying there are no ducks near his house, but he does have a "pretty sweet" duck pond simulator.
Originally the Atari 2600 version was playable after completing the Tandy 400 version, but now all the player sees is a brief demo of the game as Strong Bad plays it. The original, playable version is available via the Homestar Runner wiki.
